Below are general descriptions of positions we commonly have available.

1. SKI SERVICE & REPAIR TECHNICIANS  (Full-time and part-time positions available.)
We are a specialist ski tuning and repair business based in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Our aim is to provide a high level of service and to aid our clients in having a positive experience while visiting Revelstoke.
With over 28 winter seasons of tuning experience at all performance levels, the owner will provide ongoing tune and repair training to successful candidates.

As a Ski Service & Repair Technician, you must be able to interact well with customers as well as service their equipment appropriately.  Best shop practices will be used to consistently return equipment to an optimal and safe performing condition.  The majority or work hours will be in the evening.
Responsibilities and Duties
•    Inspecting equipment to determine required repair or service needed
•    Correctly documenting received equipment
•    Servicing of equipment including base grinding, edge sharpening and waxing.
•    Major repairs including p-texing, base patches, edge replacements and delaminations
•    Mounting, adjusting and testing a wide variety of ski bindings
•    Using and maintaining tuning machines including Wintersteiger equipment
•    Maintaining a clean and organized work area
•    Returning equipment to clients

1.    Full-time applicants must have tuning experience
2.    All applicants must be able to:

2. SKI RENTAL TECHNICIANS (Full-time and part-time positions available.)

The Ski Rental Technician will be responsible for greeting guests, renting and recommending ski, snowboard and related equipment, checking in equipment to be repaired, recommending appropriate repair services, providing guests with further knowledge and related options. Other duties will include selling retail items and following opening/closing procedures. The Ski Rental Technician must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. They must also multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve to effectively deal with internal and external customers.

Job Duties
•    Greet guests with a positive attitude and answer their questions as required.
•    Prepare and receive rental equipment.
•    Calculate bills, collect payments and make change for guests.
•    Count and verify daily float
•    Clean and tidy department areas.
•    Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
•    Refer all inquiries to the appropriate individuals.
•    Present a positive and professional image of the organization to all customers, visitors, and suppliers.
•    Observe and report any security issues to the Owner.
•    Perform other duties as required

•    Experience is an asset but is not required
•    Experience in customer service

•    Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required within outlined policies

Work Conditions
•    Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
