SKI MOUNTING & REPAIR TECHNICIANS

(Full-time and part-time positions available)

We are a specialist ski tuning and repair business based in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Our aim is to provide a high level of service and to aid our clients in having a positive experience while visiting Revelstoke.
 
As a Ski Mounting & Repair Technician, you must be able to interact well with customers as well as service or repair their equipment appropriately.  Best shop practices will be used to consistently return equipment to usable and safe performing condition.  The majority or work hours will be in the evening.
 
Responsibilities and Duties
•    Inspecting equipment to determine required repair or service needed
•    Correctly documenting received equipment
•    Servicing of equipment including base grinding, edge sharpening and waxing.
•    Major repairs including p-tex, base patches, edge replacements and delaminations
•    Mounting, adjusting and testing a wide variety of ski bindings
•    Using and maintaining tuning machines including Wintersteiger equipment
•    Maintaining a clean and organized work area
•    Returning equipment to clients

Requirements
1.    Full-time applicants must have tuning experience
2.    All applicants must be able to:
•    communicate clearly with customers and staff
•    learn new and adapt existing tuning techniques
•    work as part of a team or independently
•    carry out the physical work required
